   Welcome Parents and Students!!

Hi... I am Mrs. Tebon:

Let me tell you a little about my family.  My husband, David, and I have been married for over 28 years.    We share our lives with two boys....men.    Peyton, 21, is studying for his MS/PhD in Bio-Molecular Engineering at UCLA. He hopes to work on curing cancer or breaking research on stem cell organ growth.   Tannor, 19, a Sophomore at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE), is majoring in Business Administration.  He is rostered on the MSOE soccer team.

I began teaching at a residential treatment center, Wyalusing Academy in 1988.  I taught there for two years-- moved back to Southeast Wisconsin and found the job of a lifetime (literally).  In 1990, I began teaching at Brighton Elementary School as the special education teacher. The next year, I quickly was given the gifted and talented position as well. I taught advanced coursework, drama and writing. During the past 28 years, I have had many different roles and titles. At the present time, I don't have just one job... I have many and I love it!  I am the Special Education Coordinator/Teacher and RTI Coordinator/Teacher.

My education includes an MS in Educational Leadership/Principal/Director of Instruction as well as certification as an Autism Specialist and Special Education Teacher.  I am currently working on my certification as a Reading Specialist.   I am returning to Brighton for my 29th year.  I love working with the students, coordinating the incentive activities and greeting the students each morning.  I find it rewarding to teach students how to learn. Brighton is my second home.

Sincerely,

Linda J. Tebon
