What Ms. Lane Loves About Brighton

Ms. Lane loves Brighton’s welcoming community and the strong relationships that help every child feel supported. She also values the collaboration among staff and the way teachers work together to support each student’s long-term growth

In the Classroom

As a first grade teacher, Ms. Lane creates hands-on learning experiences that connect with students’ interests and help make learning meaningful. She focuses on building strong reading and language skills while helping students grow in confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Her Approach

Ms. Lane believes first graders learn best when they feel known, cared for, and supported by a strong school community. She prioritizes building meaningful relationships with students and their families and enjoys celebrating students beyond the classroom, whether that means attending a game, recital, or another special event.

Fun Fact

Ms. Lane enjoys spending weekends with her family playing board games, taking road trips, and going on new adventures! She also loves to read and draw and travels with a good book and sketchpad.
