What Mrs. Gascoigne Loves About Brighton

Mrs. Gascoigne loves working at Brighton because she gets to see firsthand the personal and academic growth each student makes. In a small, tight-knit community like Brighton, she enjoys staying connected with former students and celebrating their continued successes as they move through the school.


In the Classroom

In fourth grade, Mrs. Gascoigne teaches math, literacy, science, and social studies. Her classroom emphasizes both independent and cooperative learning, helping students develop strong academic skills alongside teamwork and social growth. Students are encouraged to think creatively, challenge themselves, and try new things—even when learning feels hard at first, while supporting and celebrating one another in a positive environment.


Her Approach

Mrs. Gascoigne strives to create a classroom where every student feels supported, capable, and motivated to do their best. She believes growth comes from perseverance, collaboration, and a willingness to learn from mistakes.


Fun Fact

Mrs. Gascoigne is also Brighton’s cheerleading coach and has been involved in cheerleading since age six, first as a performer and later as a coach. She also has a serious sweet tooth and can never pass up a good donut 🍩.
