In the Classroom

In second grade, students in Mrs. Keller’s classroom focus on building strong reading and math foundations while developing a genuine love of learning. Her students work toward becoming fluent readers, strengthening comprehension skills, mastering addition and subtraction (including regrouping), and growing as confident writers through cursive, fiction and nonfiction stories, and persuasive writing.

Mrs. Keller hopes her students leave second grade feeling confident in their abilities, curious about learning, and proud of their growth.
