What Ms. Cushing Loves About Brighton

Ms. Cushing loves being part of Brighton’s welcoming school community and looks forward to building strong relationships with students through both learning and laughter.

In the Classroom

As a 7th and 8th grade teacher and Instructional Coach, Ms. Cushing teaches 7th and 8th grade literacy and 8th grade math while also supporting teaching and learning across the school. In the classroom, she focuses on helping students strengthen their academic skills while continuing to grow in confidence and independence.

Her Approach

Ms. Cushing believes in fostering kindness, encouraging growth, and helping every student become the best version of themselves. She strives to create a positive environment where students feel supported, challenged, and capable of success.

Fun Fact

During the summer, Ms. Cushing works for the Wisconsin State Fair. She also enjoys fishing in her free time.
